From October 2017 -  January 2018 Anna was in Varanasi, India collaborating with embroiderers. She returned to India for two months in December 2019 to collaborate with wood block carvers and natural dye fabric printers in Ahmedabad, India to make social commentary through local craft. A collection of Anna's Indian works were exhibited Hastings Public Art Gallery, New Zealand from March - June, 2020.
